L&T Vyoma and SRIT India Launch Sovereign Cloud to Power GovTech, Healthcare and Telecom
Larsen & Toubro-Vyoma has teamed up with SRIT India Ltd to launch a sovereign cloud platform for the government, healthcare, and telecom sectors. It will be branded as SRIT Cloud, and the platform will be built on infrastructure that is in compliance with the standards set by India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Moreover, the platform is designed to cater the requirements of data sovereignty, reliability and secure performance.
The tie-up combines Vyoma’s hyperscale cloud infrastructure with SRIT’s rich experience in e-governance, digital health, and the development of mission-critical systems. They will provide an entirely integrated stack that scales up and downs the services according to needs without the risk of outages. The intention is to equip high-growth public services with tools that enhance their performance and speed of deployment.
SRIT’s platforms, which comprise of its certified E-Health System connected with national health missions, will be provided through various cloud models such as SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. This diversity will enable hospitals, clinics, and government organizations to implement state-of-the-art digital solutions with less difficulty and reduced cost. This initiative has the potential to speed up the digital transformation process in various sectors.
GovTech’s technological solutions consist of systems for municipal management, automated permit issuance, and intelligent transport.
